The Jerusalem Institute for Israel Studies recently hosted a conference, on the topic of: Indicators for assessing the state of a local authority. A joint enriching discussion was held on measuring and assessing local authorities together with heads of authorities, CEOs, strategic unit directors and senior government officials.

Seminar on Outlooks for long term strategic planning
The Ministry of Environmental Protection and the Environmental Policy Center (EPC) of the Jerusalem Institute for Israel Studies hosted a seminar on the preparation and use of outlooks for long term strategic planning. The seminar was led by environmental experts from the OECD as well as Israeli experts in the field.

Symposium on Jewish-Catholic Relations

Panel Discussion: The Museum of Tolerance and the Muslim Cemetery in Mamilla
The JIIS will be hosting an academic and public discussion marking the publication of "Allah’s Safe Haven? The Controversy Surrounding the Mamilla Cemetery and the Museum of Tolerance – Contesting Domination over the Symbolic and Physical Landscapes". Representatives of various academic institutitons will be presenting their views on the topic.
